Autocut on TikTok is a great way to combine video clips on the short-form video platform and make the video snappy – for lack of a better term. And it all happens in no time.
Here’s a video I created with autocut on TikTok from an Iowa football game.
And basically, autocut on TikTok put that together from three separate clips:
- The marching band moving away from me
- Herky, the mascot dancing
- The team running out
But really, you don’t even need multiple clips. One longer clip, like I did with this Amazon product video, works too.
So here is how to do that:
Upload the clips to TikTok:
Then click on autocut and it will process:
Then, find a piece of music and a cut that works. Click on the options to see a preview – before committing to it.
Then click “next” and add your description and hashtags. Then publish.
And that’s basically it. Autocut on TikTok is a great way to create a stunning and fun video in no time. I’m a big fan. Certainly, you still need to get some clips that can be used or that tell some story. I would say that a variety of clips or even a longer clip work just fine. Now, what’s a longer clip is a bit debatable. The one I used for the gym video is only 17 seconds. And that’s not super long. The final version was 23 seconds.
