Big fan of the Yankees here – as you can see in many of my videos because I’m wearing a Yankees hat. But since I live in Iowa, I have to get MLB TV to watch the games. And then I bought a Vizio TV and I couldn’t find MLB TV on there at all. So the question that bubbled to the top was how to watch MLB TV on Vizio?
Well, I got it to work and here’s the answer.
Now every TV is a little different, but the Vizio 55-inch that I got does not carry MLB as a native app. It does carry all those other standard ones like YouTubeTV, YouTube, etc.
Here’s really the easiest way to watch MLB TV on Vizio when the MLB app is not natively available: Buy a Roku. I got the Roku Express for example
Then hook that up to the TV through the HDMI cable and simply navigate through the input button to the right HDMI input to watch Roku offerings.
Of course, you need the MLB TV subscription but once you have it, you simply navigate to the MLB TV app on Roku, login and you’re ready to watch the games like you would watch anything else on your TV.
