Spotify for Podcasts – a free podcast hosting service – now allows you to add others to your account to help with production tasks.
This is especially helpful if you would like to own an account, but have other people do the production or when other people do the analysis.
So here’s how you set that up. In your account go to the Teams area in settings.
Once in there you can invite people and give them different access level to different areas like:
- Episodes – including video (Upload, edits, etc.)
- Analytics (Listener count, etc.)
- Interactions (Q&A polls)
- Monetization (when available)
The set up is quite easy. Just pick the different settings for each area and then send the invite.
The invited person then has to approve the invite.
I would say overall this is a nice addition to the platform and certainly makes collaboration and task division easier.
